Together, we hold the most comprehensive understanding and first-hand experience of college admissions preparation. Collaborating together as a board of counselors, the Admission Masters team utilizes each and every one of its counselors’ unique skills in providing the most up-to-date and effective tactics in maximizing a student’s candidacy potential. WHY YOU NEED COLLEGE CONSULTING & WHAT ADMISSION MASTERS OFFERS…
University
applications have become more competitive than ever. GPA and perfect SAT scores
no longer guarantee admissions to the top schools, as more of these students
apply than there are openings for admission. What once was a straightforward
application now has become one of the most subjective and competitive processes
ever to befall a graduating student. Additionally, the entire high school
infrastructure has been crumbling under the pressures of overextended capacity
and lower funding, which unfortunately degrades the level of attention and
effort given to each individual student by high school counselors when it comes
to preparing for college applications. If a graduating class of seniors ranges anywhere from 150 students to 500 and more, and the available number of counselors per class ranges from one to four, then it is easy to see why relying on your high school services is just not enough. With counselors handling caseloads of over 100 students each, the level of attention sorely deteriorates. The level of involvement and attention
to detail that high school services provide even today is not comprehensive
enough, detailed enough, or expansive enough to maximize the student’s chances
of entering into a top-tier college. In many districts around the entire
nation, it has unfortunately become the students and parents’ imperative to
find additional sources to help supplement or even spearhead the high school
career and college services.

HOW EARLY OR LATE CAN I SIGN UP? WHAT IF MY CIRCUMSTANCE IS SPECIAL?
In today’s competitive environment, it is never too early to begin grooming your choices and activities for applying for college. While many students only realize the impending difficulty of applying when their senior year arrives, the applications will look beyond the scores and into your early years as well. As such, it becomes important to make the right choices—which volunteer or leadership experience is worth more time, and which is not worth continuing, etc.—with the time that is given. Our services go beyond just the senior level college consulting, and work with students who are ready to take a more pro-active effort for their future. Beneficially, early enrollment will provide sooner advice that can make the final application much more ideal for the competition. Our recommendation is to begin as early as middle school if possible. Come in for a consultation to hear what we have to say!
